Gaining by giving

“There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

To be stingy is the world's way to prosperity, but it is not God's way, for He saith, “There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Spurgeon said : ‘Faith's way of gaining is giving’. I must try this again and again; and I may expect that as much of prosperity as will be good for me will come to me as a gracious reward for a generous  course of action.

Of course, I may not be sure of growing rich. I shall be fat, but not too fat.!says the kjv

Too great riches might make me feel more important than the lower class and probably will cause a degeneration of my hearts intention.

I can only be prosperous on my way when Inhave good thoughts about God, his Church And other people.

Let me not hold back oh Lord.

HIS TITHE BUILT A SHACK

The story is told that a man died and went to Heaven. He was met at the pearly gates by the apostle Peter who led him down the golden streets. They went past mansions after beautiful mansions until they came to the end of the street where they stopped in front of a shack.

The man asked Peter why he got a hut when there were so many mansions he could live in.

Peter replied, “I did the best I could with the money you sent us.” (ministry127.com)
